Took me a while to find the fourth head.

Could only see three and thought, ‘that’s too many legs for three heads’.

Which brewery? I have a story about Yazoo Brewing that is equal parts sort of funny and rather hazy in my mind given the amount I consumed there.

Very nice. A buddy of mine in Nashville sent me a beer from Mantra Ales in (nearby?) Franklin. It was a chai milk stout called Japa. Very wild, and in the best way possible.

The beer scene is lightyears ahead of where it was last time I was down that way (about 7 years ago I’m guessing).

I had a neighbour years ago who had five former racing greyhounds (they are registered and protected in the U.K., the racing ones anyway). You may know I live in a small terrace house, so five of these must of been tight in the small property with his wife and three kids but they were very well loved.

We do trivia every Wednesday. Sadly we only managed second this week. I blame the distinct lack of a doggo cheering section.

When I first tried Mantra it was a very over carbonated and shut me down . Just recently started giving them a chance again and they have some good stuff. MTSU has its own brewing degree and a brewery with a dog park, ultimate frisbee course, and tap room on the property partner with Mantra. Gooood stuff.

The place we go has a dog friendly patio, but they can’t come inside. I have every intention of bringing Ruby on nice evenings.
